Hi,
I was just editing a homemade
movie for my parents and looking at all our family vacation movies.
Found this snap shot. We took the SS America from New York in June and
arrived 7 days later in Le Havre France for a 3 month European vacation.
That's
me, in the lower right holding the two flags. I just turned 50. My
parents will love this movie. Lots of old footage. I needed some photos
of the America and voila! I found your site. thanks much. Loved reading
the letters of other people like myself.
Hated
seeing the pictures of the wreck. That will be left out of my movie.
